Kevin Sorensen Obituary

Kevin James Sorensen (Sorenuts) passed away on Oct 2, 2025. Kevin was born on January 26, 1966 in Dike, Iowa. He was a long time resident of Traer. Kevin was employed by PCI out of Reinbeck for 27 years.

Kevin's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. His grandkids were his pride and joy. He looked forward to spending time with them and attending their activities.

Kevin enjoyed visiting with people anywhere he went. On his weekends off, he and Michelle enjoyed taking mini trips around the midwest site seeing and making memories together.

Kevin is survived by his wife Michelle Mundt, his children; Whitney Sorensen, Rob (Stacy) Kucera, Tonia Allen, Sarah (Cory) Dostal; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his mother and step father Sharon and Gordy Paulson; and a sister Debbie (John) Gordon. He is preceded in death by his father Clifford Sorensen.

A celebration of life will be October 25th, 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Traer Country Club.

I'm so sorry to read about Kevin's passing. I only saw him a few times when he was a very small child. He had a very kind father. I am his mother, Sharon's, cousin. I am happy to see that she must still be alive. Losing Kevin is heartbreaking for his wife & children. I pray the Lord holds you all closely during this difficult time. Barbara Eastman Dietz
