Laurene Saathoff Obituary
November 30, 1953 - March 28, 2025
Laurene Kay Saathoff, 71, of Waverly (formerly of Clarksville) passed away on Fri, 3/28/2025. She was born in Waterloo 11/30/1953, daughter of William and Ruth (Hyde) Smith. Laurene graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1972. She married, Robert Peter Saathoff on 7/7/1973. Laurene worked for the City of Cedar Falls, retiring in 2017.
Laurene is survived by her husband; daughter, Nicole Saathoff; son-in-law, Wes Doxey of Waverly; three grandchildren; four siblings: Luana, Linda, William and Tammy; and many extended family members and friends.
Laurene's Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Wed, 4/2/2025, at Nazareth Lutheran Church with Visitation from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Tues, 4/1/2025, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home both of Cedar Falls. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery of New Hartford. More information at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
