Leland Dean Faust, 73, of Waverly, formerly of Denver, died Friday, January 23, 2026, in Waverly.
Leland was born October 24, 1952, in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Lorenz and Esther (Bloeser) Faust.
He graduated from Denver High School in 1970 and served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He was a welder his entire career, beginning with Schield-Bantam, then stayed with the company through mergers as Koehring Cranes and Terex, retiring in 2016.
Leland enjoyed the outdoors where he could hunt (pheasants and rabbits) and be around horses.
Leland is survived by his brother, Lyle (Joan) Faust, of Denver; a sister, Carma (Vernon) Lister of Eudora, Kan.; and a sister-in-law, Donna Faust of Denver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenz and Esther Faust and a brother, Gary Faust.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family and online condolences may be left at kaisercorson.com.
