Randall Erick "Randy" Thuesen, age 71, died Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his home in Sikeston, MO, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born February 18, 1953, in Cedar Falls, IA, to Paul Erick Thuesen and Barbara (Draper) Thuesen. Randy grew up on a farm in rural Cedar Falls, and attended school in Dike, graduating in 1971. This became his calling. Randy worked with Substance Abuse Consumers of over 30 years, specializing in assessments, counseling, D.W.I., Dual Diagnosis and Anger management classes. For a number of years, he has worked with Mission Missouri in Sikeston and as a counselor with Family Counseling services.

On May 26, 2006, he married Connie Baring, and she survives of the home. Also surviving is his son, Kyle Erick Thuesen of the home, his sisters and brothers, Debbie Eiten, Gary Thuesen (Donna), David Thuesen (Melodee), and Melissa (Tim) England. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and one aunt, Joan Thuesen.

A celebration of life was held in the family home, and burial will be held in Iowa at the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church cemetery on a later date.
