Ronald Louis Fell, age 90, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, IA.
Ronald was born January 8, 1935, in Iowa City, IA, and adopted by Fred and Agnes (Petersen) Fell. He graduated from Waterloo West High School in the class of 1953.
On September 11, 1955, Ronald was united in marriage to Skip Brumbaugh in Cedar Falls. Ron served his country in the US National Guard for three years. He owned and operated Ron Fell Construction for most of his career, operating as a general contractor on residential home construction and business projects. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.
Ron is survived by his wife, Skip of 70 years; his three sons, Michael Fell of Waterloo, Scott (Lori) Fell of Elk Run Heights, and Mark Fell of Waterloo; honorary daughter, Clare Wright of Waterloo; his three grandchildren, Holly (Nathan), Katie and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Seth, Evan, Brenton (Tailor), Blake (Madi), Braxton, Briar, Kadeem, and Alantar; his great-great-grandchild, Kendall with another on the way; his sister, Alberta Long of Minneapolis, MN; and his "very good dog" Trapper.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Heather; brothers, Vance and Steve; and half-sister, Polly.
A family-directed celebration of life will be held at Antique Acres Hall in Cedar Falls on November 15, 2025, from 12 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Cedar Bend Humane Society. Online condolences at www.richardsonfuneralservice.com.
