Vernon Peters Obituary
May 22, 1932 - December 18, 2025
Vernon passed away at home in Murphy, TX. He served in the U.S. Army, then, worked for John Deere for 30 years.
Vern was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha; wife, Verdeen; and 9 siblings. He is survived by his children, Pam (Bob) Davis of Traer and Jeff (Shannon) Peters of Sachse, TX; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the Larsen Chapel at Nazareth Lutheran Church with an hour of Visitation prior to the service. Burial at Harlington Cemetery in Waverly. Additional obituary details at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
