John Larry "Bo" McDougald

MCDOUGALD, John Larry "Bo", born December 10, 1936, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Prattville Memorial Chapel with Janet Krantz officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pine Level United Methodist Church with Prattville Memorial directing. Mr. McDougald was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.C. McDougald; sister, Sue Watson; and grandson, Austin McDougald. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Angie McDougald; four sons, Phillip McDougald (Donna), Ronnie McDougald (Jan), Keith McDougald (Wahoo), and Michael Rambo (Amanda); precious grandchildren, Amber Harris (Jacob), Jamey Carson (Madison), Avey Rambo, Katy Rambo, Katie Wallace (Austin), Weston McDougald and Moriah McDougald; great-grandkids, Hayes Harris, Tatum Harris, and Willa Kate Wallace; a host of cousins, extended family and special friends; also leaves behind his cherished four-legged companion, Lollipop. Mr. McDougald proudly served his country in the Alabama National Guard for 12 years. He was also a long-time employee of Noland Company where he received numerous awards and accolades before retiring after 42 devoted years. Mr. McDougald was a life-long member of the Cattleman's Association. He was also an avid churchgoer and could be found reading his Bible each night before bed. Pallbearers will be Jamey Carson, Dana Newberry, Jacob Harris, Austin Wallace, Mac Watson and Art Watson.
