John Paul "JP" Streit

STREIT, John Paul "JP", 21, born on August 1, 2004, resident of Marbury, AL, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Prattville Memorial Chapel. JP grew up in Marbury Community and graduated from Marbury High School in 2023. He was known for his love of video games, his sense of humor, and the joy he found in simply being with his family and friends. His easygoing nature and kind heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. JP was an avid Roll Tide fan. Mr. Streit was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Mary Streit and Deanna Cazer; great-grandmother, Dolly Rucker. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer Cazer Streit and John Streit; fiancé, Makayleigh Hall-Crabtree; grandfather, James Cazer; sister, Lanie Cazer; brother, True Cazer Welch (Madelyn); four uncles, Jeremy Streit (Amy), David Cazer, Eddie Barrera and Mark Rucker; aunt, Annette Rucker Shasteen; niece, Marley Matthews; two nephews, Tucker Posey and Logan White; cousins, Chris Cazer (Tabetha) and Ashley Pringle (Tyler); extended family and many friends who will deeply miss him.
