June Aronson Obituary

June Aronson, a resident of Ariton, Alabama went home to be with her Lord on October 11, 2025 at the age of 94. She was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida and lived in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Alabama. June was a 1949 graduate of Largo High School in Largo, Florida. She was a homemaker and was talented in many areas: painting, needlework, cooking and writing. For years, she was involved with genealogy, researching her ancestors. And as a result, she produced 4 books on her family's history. June actively served in Baptist and Methodist churches during her life. She was a member of Brundidge Methodist Church in her last years. Faith in Jesus Christ was an important part of her life. June was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Aronson; her first husband, Gerald Paul Selby; her grandson, Logan Selby; her brother, Arthur Luh; and her parents, Chester and Irene (Dickert) Luh. She is survived by her four sons: Michael Selby (Linda), Daphne, AL James Selby, Mobile, AL Timothy Selby, Doraville, GA Paul Selby, Jr, Panama City, FL She also has 4 grandchildren: Heather Ray, Laura Selby, Michael Selby, II (Shannon) and Kiersten Selby; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 at 2 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
