Ruth Margaret Hawn

HAWN, Ruth Margaret, 93, resident of Prattville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Ruth M. (King) Hawn was born in 1932 to Rose and Albert King about 20 miles from Sunbright, TN. She grew up in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains on a small country farm. Ruth and Ralph were married in 1931. A very loving and kind couple, they were united in knowing that God loved them and that Christ was their Savior. They are loved by family and are missed. Funeral services will be held at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Brother Glenn Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Wednesday one-hour prior to service. She was faithful member of East Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Hawn was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hawn; parents, Albert and Rose King. She is survived by her three sons, Dennis Hawn (Vickie), Douglas Hawn (Pandora) and Dustin Hawn (Wendi); seven grandchildren, Ryan Hawn, Nathaniel Hawn, Douglas Hawn, Mackenzie Moreno, Rebecca Urquhart, Sarah Hawn and Emily Hawn; eight great-grandchildren, Alice Hawn, Claire Urquhart, Porter Moreno, Ruth Hawn, Kennedy Hawn, Zoe Hawn, Aletheia Hawn and Nika Hawn; extended family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Ryan Hawn, Nathaniel Hawn, Michael Moreno, BJ Urquhart, Douglas Hawn and Dennis Hawn.
