Dolores M. Bartee

1929 - 2023

Lebanon, WI - Dolores Bartee, 94, entered her Eternal Heavenly Home on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Dolores Marie Moldenhauer was born on June 15, 1929, the daughter of Elmer and Millie (Bauman) Moldenhauer. She was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lebanon in 1942, where she was a lifelong member. She graduated from Watertown High School and Fond du Lac School of Business.

In 1954, Dolores went to San Diego, CA and met Tom Bartee, her handsome sailor. They married in Yuma, AZ six weeks later. Tom & Dolores enjoyed 47 years of marriage and together raised their four children Diane, Kathy, Pam and Tom.

Dolores spent most of her career working for her father's business and later Tom Bartee Landscaping and Lawn Cutting. She loved flowers, birds, auctions, antiques, refinishing furniture, Big Band music, playing sheepshead with her friends, and was an avid walker.

Dolores is survived by daughter, Diane Bosshard of La Crosse, WI, her husband, Bill, and their children; Andrew (Dayna), Joe (Emma), Makenzie, Carley (Bryan) & John; daughter Pam Bartee of Watertown, WI and her husband Bruce Christian; son Tom Bartee of Northglenn, CO and his son, Jackson; son-in-law, Dr. Jeff Cox of Joplin, MO and his children; Lucas, Emma (Derek), Jared, and Claire, great-grandchildren Avery, Brynn, Carys, and Kip; and her sister, Marlene Baranowski of Waukesha, WI.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom in 2001, daughter Kathy Cox in 2012, brother-in-law Tom Baranowski in 2016.

The funeral service for Dolores Bartee will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lebanon on Thursday, December 28th at 11:00am with Pastor Daniel Repp officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00am until the time of service. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lebanon.
