Ruth Rummler Obituary
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek with Fr. Jim Leeser officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Madison at a later date. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com.
Ruth Alice Hustad was born on July 22, 1930 in Madison to Milton and Lillian (nee Dunn) Hustad. She was a 1948 graduate of East High School in Madison. Ruth married Leroy Rummler in Madison on August 20, 1949. She retired from Hamlin, Inc. in Lake Mills.
She is survived by: son, Mark (Karen) of Nashotah; daughter Linda Crowl of Milwaukee; grandchildren: Barry, Sarah (Scott) Pliner, Martha (Pete) Reyes, Nicholas (Carley Mostar) Rummler, and Zachary Rummler; great-grandchildren: Mabel Reyes, Annie Reyes, Ellis Mostar Rummler, Kelsey Pliner, Brenna Pliner; daughter-in-law Cindy Rummler of Jefferson; sister, Roberta (Don) Rhode of Stoughton; brother, Rodney (Linda) Hustad of Hancock; as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son Bruce Rummler, husband Leroy on December 5, 2015; brothers: Robert Hustad, Ralph Hustad; sister, Reva Schultz.
