Sandra Rowedder

1935 - 2025

Sandra Rowedder Dousman, WI - Mrs. Sandra (Sandy) Jean Rowedder, age 89 passed away Tuesday evening April 22nd at Three Pillars Senior Living Community surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 8th, 1935 in Argyle Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Clarence and Clara Watkins. In 1958, she married the love of her life, Royce Rowedder.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Rowedder, parents and siblings. She is the loving mother of her four children; Leslie Rowedder of Madison, WI; Chip (Beth) Rowedder of Oconomowoc, WI; Rob (Cheryl) Rowedder of Watertown, WI; and Danette (Dennis) Rowsell of Belleair Beach, FL. She was a dear grandmother of nine grandchildren; Blake, AJ, Madyson, Megan, Craig, Derek, Nicki, Tegan and John, and a great-grandmother to Bjorn and Audrey Jean.

After attending Argyle High School, Sandy graduated from Rockford College with a degree in Speech Pathology. She worked for 27 years as a Speech Pathologist in the Watertown School District.

Her interests included golf, reading, NYT crossword puzzles, sewing, barbershop singing and Brewers baseball. She appreciated gourmet chocolate and the occasional glass of wine (always red). After retirement, she and her husband travelled the world and settled in The Villages, Florida to enjoy year-round golf.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the exemplary and compassionate care provided by the staff at Three Pillars Senior Living Communities and Allay Hospice.
