Carole Jean (Sutter) Parsons passed away on October 16, 2025.
Carole was born on August 17, 1951 in San Diego, California to Robert and Bette Suter, and later moved to Cashmere, Washington in 1966. There she met Jeff Parsons, and they married in May of 1970, going on to have two children and three grandchildren. She found joy in softball, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, and the beautiful Cascade mountain range she called home. Her life was marked by love, passion, and deep feeling for her family, her dogs, and the great earth itself.
While on this earth, Carole found her spiritual connection with nature most truly when she took her dog truck to the trails, hooked a lead onto her sled, and became one with them; the dogs, the trail, the snow and trees. Her dogs were her deep passion and purpose. As she once said, "they depend on you and you depend on them, and you won't get far without each other." She found a community of like-minded people and developed many rich and lasting friendships throughout the years.
She is predeceased by her husband Jeff and is survived and missed by her son and daughter, Justin and Jenifer, and by three granddaughters, Cheyanne, Caty, and Brooklyn.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Confluence Hospice. Their compassion and care was immeasurable.
We would also like to thank the wonderful people from Carole's dog community. Your help, along with your love and support could never be repaid.
A celebration of life is being planned for Spring 2026.
