David "Dave" Elmo Troxel

On Monday, February 10, 2025, David Elmo Troxel passed away, after an unexpected health issue, at Confluence Health Hospital, with family at his bedside. Dave was born to Eugene Wilton Troxel and Marjorie Fern (Morse) Troxel, on December 10, 1946, in Wenatchee Washington.
Dave married Cindy Marie Middleton in August 1976.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and served proudly in the United States Army, sharing stories of his time in the service with those closest to him.
He was a true lover of the outdoors and found peace and joy sharing that love with his children and grandchildren over the years. He was a patient teacher and lovingly taught his children how to hunt and fish and took many trips camping in the summer and fall in the mountains in central Washington. Dave was a storyteller and a tease just like his father before him and enjoyed making those around him smile. He was a quiet man who enjoyed listening to family and friends, sharing a joke when least expected.
Dave's true happiness in life was his wife, children, and grandchildren and he put them first in life, always.
His kindness and presence will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Troxel and three children, Kevin (Amber) Troxel of Clifton, Colorado, Adam Troxel of Arlington, Washington, and Elizabeth (Adam) Clayburn of Mansfield, Ohio. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his brother, Herbert, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, daughter, Catina Phillips, niece, Cristine, brother, Rollan Troxel, sister, Karen Boodasingh and sister-in-law, Carol Troxel.
There will be a service on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Stemilt Hill Community Church (5201 Loop Rd, Wenatchee, WA 98801) officiated by Pastor Gordy Goodwin.
