The family of Donald Gene Larsen wishes to announce that he passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the age of 78. A lifelong resident of the Central Washington State region before moving to Massachusetts later in life.
Don was fortunate to have many careers in his life - truck driver, logger, rental manager - but his time as the Distribution Manager for the Wenatchee World Newspaper made the most of his personality and talents and is likely the work of which he was most proud.
Born in 1945, to Arvid Thomas Larsen and Eva (Taylor) Larsen, Don was raised with his siblings, as well as numerous foster children that frequented their home.
He is survived by his sons: Coy Larsen (Laurel), and Larry Owens-Larsen (Heidi); brother, Tom Larsen (Christine); and sister, Debbie Montgomery (Robert Leonard); as well as four grandchildren: Easton, Hayden, Holden and Cooper; and one great-grandchild, Lainee.
A Graveside Service will be held for Don and his wife, Julie, in Bremerton, WA, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m., June 21, 2024, with a Celebration of Life at the Dryden Community Club in Dryden, WA, on June 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
Julie Ann (Stevenson) Larsen
June 10, 1950 – October 9, 2023

The family of Julie Ann (Stevenson) Larsen wishes to announce her passing on October 9, 2023. Julie was a steadfast blessing to her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
Born in St. Louis, MO, on June 10, 1950, Julie spent her childhood moving across the U.S. and Europe due to her father's (Robert Earl Stevenson) position in the military. In 1963, Julie lost her mother (Marion "Mergenthal" Stevenson) to a stroke, marking a sad time for her and her younger sister, Janet.
Julie married Larry Owens in the 1970's and had her son, Larry Troy Owens-Larsen. Later, in 1982, Julie married Donald Larsen and moved to Washington State. Larry was raised by Don as his own. Later in life, she and Don moved to Massachusetts, where they spent the remainder of their years together.
She is survived by her sister, Janet and brother-in-law, Bill Grimes; her son, Larry Owens-Larsen and wife, Heidi Larsen; and step-son, Coy Larsen (Laurel). She was also grandmother to: Holden, Cooper, Easton, Hayden; and grandmother to Lainee.
A Graveside Service will be held for Julie and her husband, Don, in Bremerton, WA, at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., on June 21, 2024, with a Celebration of Life in Dryden, WA, on June 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
