Linda Riggs Obituary

Linda Riggs
September 29, 1946 - November 15, 2024
Linda K. Riggs, passed away on November 15, 2024, in Leavenworth, WA.
Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at home at the age of 78 after extended health issues.
She was born on September 29, 1946, in Leavenworth, WA to Ralph and Lorna (McVay) Monesmith.
Linda lived her entire life in the Leavenworth area. She attended Leavenworth High School, graduating in 1964. That same year, she met and married the love of her life, Clifford Riggs. The next year they welcomed their daughter, Brenda and later a son, Randy. When she was younger, she packed apples and she and Cliff built and ran a successful butcher shop where she was a meat wrapper. She enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her beautiful flower beds which were always a hit with her neighbors. When she was younger, she enjoyed horseback riding the many mountain trails in the valley. She loved her family fiercely and enjoyed spending time with her three grandsons and watching the Seattle Seahawk games and NASCAR.
Linda was preceded in death by her father; mother; brother, Dave Monesmith; sisters, Marian, Janice and Joyce. She is survived by her husband, Cliff; daughter, Brenda Moore (Curtis Roy); son, Randy Riggs; and three grandsons, Jake Eriksen, Blake Eriksen and Lane Riggs.
At Linda's request there will be no service.
