Matthew Mullins Obituary
August 16, 1958 - April 7, 2025
Matthew James Mullins, 66, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Stanfield, OR, with his wife Jackie by his side. Born on August 16, 1958, in Medford, OR, Matthew was raised in Peshastin, WA, where he excelled in school sports.
He pursued higher education at Wenatchee Valley College and Western Washington University. Matthew dedicated his professional life to home healthcare, offering care and support to others until health challenges led to an early retirement.
Matthew is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jackie; children, Miranda (Brandon), JJ (Sasha), and Daniel; and grandchildren, Makayla (Jordan), Silas, Ethan, Faith, Grace, Isaac, Alannah, Jonah, and Jasper. A great-grandson is expected soon. He is also remembered by his brother-in-law, Peter (Carmen) Van Well and family, sister-in-law, Vicki (Danny) McGregor and Family mother, Edith; brother, Tom; three sisters, aunts, and cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe and stepmother, Vivian, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins and his beloved pets who he referred to has his children.
Matthew found joy in watching football and participating in fantasy football leagues. He especially cherished cheering on his grandchildren as they played hockey and practiced Tai Quan Do.
A Memorial Mass will be held on June 20, 2025, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 1315 8th St NE, East Wenatchee, Washington 98802. Services will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at 2:20 p.m.
In honor of Matthew's memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I worked with Matt back in the 90s (maybe early 2000s) helping adults with developmental disabilities to live independently. He was a terrific care provider and great friend.

Matt was a great father I miss him. He taught me how to be a man. Encouraged me to get help with my mental illness and I still go to.counseling to.this day. I miss him terribly
