Roger Bryant

1934 - 2026

Roger Earl Bryant passed away peacefully on February 20th, 2026 at the age of 91. Roger was born in 1934 in Chelan Washington. After graduating from Chelan High School, he continued his education at Wenatchee Valley College where he spent two years. It was during these college years that Roger's life changed forever when he met the love of his life and lifelong partner, Betty Reinecker. Roger and Betty married in 1956 and soon moved to Los Angeles where Roger attended the College of Mortuary Science. Upon graduation, they returned to Washington where Roger worked as a mortician and funeral director-first for two years in Bremerton and then five years in Blaine. During these formative years, Roger and Betty welcomed their three children: Debbie, Julie and Jeff.
The Bryant family eventually returned home to Wenatchee, where Roger owned and operated several small businesses. A few years later, Roger stepped into what would become his true life's passion: running the family pear orchard.
Roger was a man of action who found it difficult to sit still. He poured his energy into his family and into the Wenatchee Valley, becoming a staple of the community through his many years as an active Applarian and a dedicated Apple Blossom volunteer.
Roger's spirit of adventure was most evident in the great outdoors. He was an avid snowmobiler, often found breathing the fresh mountain air with Betty riding right alongside him. He also cherished the open road embarking on countless motorcycle adventures with his close friend Jim. Perhaps nothing showcased his zest for life more than his determination to successfully obtain his pilot's license in his mid-fifties.
Roger was loved by all, but none more than his family. He was a loving husband and an amazing father and grandfather.
Roger was preceded in death by his father and mother Earl and Hiley Bryant and his brother Paul Bryant. Roger is survived by his beloved wife Betty, his children, Debbie Spaet (Randy), Julie Davenport (Brooks) and Jeff Bryant (Kim). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
