What a wonderful human being! My sincere condolences to all of Roger's family and loved ones. Roger was one of a kind and so loved by so, so many. He and Linda always opened their heart and home and there was always room for one more. Special people. So, so special. Love to all of you.

Rog, you were a joy with which to work. Whether at school or at the bargaining table, you could always create a lighter day. Rest easy my friend.

I was also a UniServ Rep for the WEA and worked with Roger on many occasions. He was always positive and creative in representing teachers, and a caretaker to his fellow UniServ Res. No matter what the situation Roger could always make you laugh. He and Steve Paulson were something to behold and I will miss them both.

Roger was a leader, a good man who I learned so much from as a colleague at EJHS and as a
UniServ Rep. He has left us a great legacy of service. Rest easy, Roger.

Roger was my favorite teacher in junior high school! He had the most awesome sense of humor that made English so much fun to learn and just to spend time in a teacher's class with a teacher that really cared about his students. His wife Linda worked with my mom at the Clinic in town (if I remember correctly!). I send my love and prayers for your family. He definitely made a lifelong effect on me for life long learning, probably having the biggest effect on my going to college for many years. That effect passed on through my children, as well. Thanks, Roger for all of your love for your students and profession. You made a difference in so many lives!
