William Wilson

1948 - 2025

William (Bill) Stanley Wilson, 77, of Wenatchee, took his last breath on earth and first in heaven on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Confluence Health Hospital with his family by his side. Bill was born on October 13, 1948 in Tonasket, WA to Robert and Jean Wilson. He grew up in Oroville, Washington and graduated from Oroville High School in 1967.
Bill married Charlene Lanter on November 25, 1972 in Portland, Oregon and went on to have four children, Ryan, John, Delena and Kristin.
Bill's faith was an important part of his life, and he took the opportunity to share with anyone who would listen.
Bill worked in many fields throughout his life. He drove truck, farmed, owned a plumbing and roofing company, sold insurance and real estate. At the age of 40 he went back to school and earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Radiologic Technology from Wenatchee Valley College. He was employed in the medical field for his remaining working years.
Bill was inquisitive by nature and would often spend his spare time researching topics of interest or reading books. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor that others would say they most enjoyed about him.
Bill is survived and missed by his devoted and loving wife Charlene and his children, Ryan Wilson, Delena (Doug) Eisenhard, Kristin (Shane) Maas; seven grandchildren, David (Kendra) Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Brooklyn Eisenhard, Cameron Eisenhard, Madelyn Eisenhard, Zoe (Caleb) Clifton and Chloe Maas; one great-grandchild, Elias Wilson and a new one expected next summer; brothers John (Linda) Wilson, Lee (Maribel) Wilson and sister Edith Wilson; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bob & Jean Wilson, sister Leslie Ann Wilson and infant son John.
We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Regency Rehab Center, Confluence Health and Hospital, and Advanced Home Health for their care and support.
At his request there will be no service. Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
