Stephen Kennedy Omondi Odindo May 22, 1973 - October 7, 2025 Stephen Kennedy Omondi Odindo, 52, of Nairobi, Kenya passed away 10/7/25 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Stephen, fondly known as "Jaboma", was born on May 22, 1973 to Jane Amollo Odindo and Henry Odindo. He leaves behind two cherished children, Robert (20) and Hadassah (18). He is predeceased by his loving wife, Alice Esther Guya Omondi, and his sister, Lavender Adhiambo Odindo. He is survived by his parents Jane and Henry Odindo, brothers Paul, John, Buxtone, Tony, sister Judy and many other family members. Stephen was a dedicated father, brother, educator, and a community advocate. His gentle spirit was admirable and infectious. In his short life, he accumulated many friends over the years, whom he loved and treated as if they were his own family. A farewell service for our beloved Stephen will take place on Saturday, 10/25/25, 3pm-5pm, at Henderson Funeral Home, 52 Hancock St., Springfield, MA.
