Edith Storme Obituary

Graveside services for Edith Louise Storme, 79, Oldfield, Mo., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m., under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Storme passed away at 5:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at her home.

She was born June 5, 1946, in Canton, Mass., to James Storme and Edith Moore Storme. Edith enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, playing scratchers, drinking her Coke and smoking her cigarettes. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also loved her cats and her dog, Black Jack. Mrs. Storme was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by six children Ralph Barstow, Jr. and wife Sandy, Kenneth Barstow and life partner Barbara Skaggs, Jimmy Barstow, Rosalyn Freeman and husband Mark, Laurence Barstow, and Donald Barstow and wife Teressa; 15 grandchildren Jordan, Elizabeth, Andrew, Laura, Brandi, Jonathan, Itchakomi, Montana, Auron, Lowell, Patrick, Kayla, Abigail, Autumn and Mathew; 14 great-grandchildren; her childhood best friend Susan Mandore; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, one infant son Daniel Lincoln Barstow and two sisters Mary Rogers and Katherine Washburn preceded her in death.
