Omma Hardcastle Obituary
She was born March 8, 1936, in West Plains, Mo., to Omie Stephens and Ruby June Hellmer Stephens. She graduated from West Plains High School in 1955. On Nov. 11, 1956, she was married in West Plains to Billy Gene Hardcastle, who preceded her in death on June 15, 2015.
She worked for the International Shoe Factory until retirement. Mrs. Hardcastle was a member of Amy Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children Billie Lynn Bassham, Mtn. Home, and Kevin Gene Hardcastle and wife Natalie, Labadie, Mo.; two grandchildren Lauren Nicole Hardcastle, Springfield, Mo., and Ryan Matthew Hardcastle, Rochester, N.Y.; one great-granddaughter Iris June Hardcastle, Springfield; one brother Elmo Leland Stephens and wife Ella Mae, West Plains; two nieces Terri Lynn Poulin and husband Laurent, Queen Creek, Ariz., and Traci Diane Wiley and husband Todd, West Plains; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Willis Clark Stephens.
Visitation services will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in Amy Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Amy Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, MO 65775.
