Catherine Regina Eagen
On August 31, 2021, Catherine Regina Eagen "Kathleen" passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 91 years old, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She married Walter "Wally" Eagen Jr. in 1958, and a few years later they moved to Westport, CT to raise their family. One of her favorite family memories was at the end of summer days handing over their four children to Wally for a daily trip to Compo Beach, giving her an hour or two of quiet time. Then she would drive to Compo to meet family and friends for dinner and cocktails. In 1996 she retired to Port St Lucie, FL where she enjoyed good friends, traveling, and visiting with her children and grandchildren.

Walter & Kathleen, Maura & Steve, Jim & Steve, Michael and Amy and family - I am so sorry to learn of the loss of you mom, mother-in-law and grandmother. Your mother was a beautiful and wonderful woman and will be missed by many. She was like a second mom to me at times and I always admired her exemplary independence, strength and resourcefulness, even in hard times like loss of your dad. My condolences to all of you.
