Robert Eldridge

1942 - 2025

On November 23, 2025, Robert Eldridge passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in South Sacramento, CA surrounded by his family. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Eldridge and Sons Robert Eldridge Jr.; (Jeanine), Douglas Eldridge (Joanie); Grandchildren Robert Eldridge III (Angie); Austin; Jonah; and Payton; Great grandchildren Violet, Rome and Alexandra; along with many nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Susie Eldridge; brother Ernie and sister Betty Sue Whipple. Robert (Bob) was born in Lilborn, Missouri on December 22,1942 and moved with his family to California in 1954. He graduated from James Marshall High in 1961 and later from Heald's Engineering College. He married his high school sweetheart Georgia Towne in February 1962 and they celebrated 63 years of marriage in 2025. Bob worked for PG&E for 38 years. Bob found joy in family, friends, church, music/dancing, RVing, vacations, pets, home projects, classic cars (hot rodding) and much more. He was a member of the Thunderbolts Capitol Auto Club for 34 years. He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 22 at River City Baptist Church, 4620 Northgate Blvd #110, Sacramento, CA 95834.
