Charles Millberg Obituary
He attended Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Charles was married to Linda Perkins for 34 years before she passed away in 2010. On August 17, 2019, he married Norma Schweigel at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Arcola where they were members. During his career Charles was a delivery truck driver for ARA Food Service, an over the road truck driver with North American Van Lines and other companies. Charles also worked for Bluffton Rubber Company as a factory worker, and Utilimaster/Holiday Rambler RV Manufacturing. He is a past member of the Eagles, Columbia City, Indiana for 15 years.
Charles loved fishing, hunting and playing euchre. He also played and coached softball. Family cookouts were a large part of his life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Charles is survived by his wife, Norma Millberg; children, Mickie (Ronelle) Godsey, Michael (Donna) Millberg, Rebecca (Sumaila) Dramani, Mary Ruth (Helen) Godsey, Jason (Jamie) Wright, Robert Craig, and Jennifer (Bryan) Dial; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren with two on the way; sisters, Joyce (Ed) Griffin, Darlene (Leo) Backs, and Christina Jones.
Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with Funeral Service at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Burial will follow at Thorn Cemetery, Ormas, Indiana. Memorial donations may be given in memory of Charles to American Lung Association for COPD Research or St. Patrick Arcola Catholic Church.
