Colleen A. Franklin

Colleen Ann Kiefer Franklin, 70, of Warren, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Heritage Pointe in Warren, Indiana. She was born on March 4, 1955, in Decatur, Indiana, to Gerhard Kiefer and Hildegard (Bultemeyer) Kiefer. Colleen was a 1973 graduate of Bellmont High School and was united in marriage to David L. Franklin on April 15, 1977, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Decatur. Colleen was a member of Zion Friedheim Lutheran Church in Decatur. Over the years, she worked at Wayne Novelty in Decatur, Decatur Industries in Decatur, and at Family Ford in Bluffton-transferring vehicles, and lovingly devoted herself as a homemaker most of her life. She is survived by her husband, David L. Franklin of Warren; several cousins; and a dear special friend, Sandy Hethcote of Warren. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the funeral home with Pastor Harold Smith officiating; viewing hours will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 am.
