Colleen K. Norris

Colleen K. Norris, 80, of Pennville, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Cardinal Care Strategies in Muncie, Indiana with her family at her side. She was born on September 25, 1944, in Portland, Indiana to William Christman and Merlyn Dubach. Colleen was a 1962 graduate of Pennville High School. She married Clell Russell Norris Jr. on February 23, 1963, at Pennville United Methodist Church. She had worked at Corning, Sheller Globe, the Federal Land Bank in Portland, Decatur, and Bluffton and owned and operated Pennville Restaurant. Colleen was a member of the Pennville American Legion Auxiliary, Pennville Fire Dept. Auxiliary, and Sweet Adalines. She enjoyed playing the organ. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents. Loving survivors include her husband, Clell Norris Jr. of Pennville, IN, son, James (Deanna) Norris of Pennville, IN, daughter, Lynette Kay Norris of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, grandchildren, Garrett Hull of Florida, Brad (Krista) Geesaman of Pennville, IN, and Lindsay (Cody) Wright of Pennville, IN, great grandchildren, Shaylin Geesaman, Avery Geesaman, Abram Wright, and Alana Wright, and sisters, Janet (Les) Park, Carol (Ron) Paxson, Rhonda (Randy) Davidson and Mary Lou (Dennis) Frazee, all of Pennville, IN, and Linda (Butch) Gray of Portland, IN. Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 Windsor St. Montpelier, IN 47359 from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A funeral service will begin at 11am Thursday, June 26, 2025, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mike Heckman will be officiating. Inurnment will be at Pennville IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pennville Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier, Indiana.
