Connie Mittlestedt Obituary

Connie J. Mittlestedt, 77, of Heritage Pointe in Warren, formerly of Bluffton, Indiana, passed away peacefully on the evening of October 19, 2025, at Heritage Pointe. She was born on January 8, 1948, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Robert Kay McFarren and Marcelle (Sleppy) McFarren. On May 29, 1964, she married Donald L. Mittlestedt at the Prairie Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2015. Connie was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. Survivors include her children, Robert A. (Tracey) Mittlestedt of Bluffton; Matthew L. (Connie) Mittlestedt of Bluffton; Lesia A. (Richards) Wood of Bluffton; Micheal J. Mittlestedt of Bluffton; and Christina M. Mittlestedt of Bluffton; along with 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, and her parents. Connie was an only child and cherished the close bond she shared with her family throughout her life. In accordance with Connie's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
