Daniel Troeger Obituary

Daniel Paul Troeger, 29, our beloved son, brother, and uncle went to be with Jesus on April 30, 2025. He was born in South Bend, Indiana on March 29, 1996, son of Timothy and Susan (Salsibury) Troeger. Daniel was a kind, compassionate, fun loving, gentle soul with a quick wit who brought joy and laughter to all his friends and family. He enjoyed playing basketball and was an avid sports fan that loved to attend and watch the Indiana Pacers games as well as Notre Dame basketball and football games. He was a great listener that was always willing to lend an ear and heartfelt advice to those in need. He used these special skills and gifts of his in law school in which he was in his third year. Daniel leaves behind many broken hearts of those who will always be thankful and cherish the time and moments they shared with him. He is indeed God's special gift. Daniel is survived by his parents Timothy and Susan Troeger of Granger, Indiana, sister Tara Lonzo of St. Petersburg, Florida, brothers James (Jen) Troeger of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Samuel Troeger of South Bend, Indiana; nephews Weston Lonzo, William Troeger and a niece Elise Troeger. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Rose Salsibury and Jack and Janet Troeger. The family has chosen to have private services.
