Diana McDonald Obituary

Diana Lynn McDonald, 70, of Kendallville, Indiana died Monday, March 31, 2025, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville with her family at her side. She was born November 18, 1954, in Martin, Kentucky to Roy A. and Eunice Mae (Hughes) Hurst. On April 13, 1974, she married Kenneth McDonald. She was a homemaker. Diana enjoyed antiques, home decor and decorating her home. She loved to read her Bible, Psalm 91, was her favorite verse. Her family meant the world to her, especially her son and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Kenneth McDonald of Kendallville; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Alexus McDonald of Rome City; six grandchildren, Christopher (Lindsay) McDonald, Autumn (Cole Bergman) McDonald, Joshua McDonald, Tomi McDonald, Gracie McDonald, and Fayelee Kuehner; three great-grandchildren, Brexton McDonald, Maddox McDonald, and Jaxx McDonald; and a sister, Rita K. Martin of Kendallville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Rodney K. Hurst. Funeral services will be Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Phil Lucas of Ashley Love Divine Church in Ashley officiating. Visitation will also be on Friday beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. Pallbearers will be Cole Bergman, Kevin Martin, Bryan Hurst, Christopher McDonald, Joshua McDonald, and Austin Morace.
