Margaret Johnson Obituary

Margaret R. Johnson, 96, of Columbia City, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born March 30, 1929, in Fort Wayne, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Jessie Storie and Adelia and Bill (Conrad) Widner.
She attended Central Catholic High School High School. In 1973, she married Paul W. Johnson. Margaret worked for Byron Health Center for over 25 years and retired as a Dietitian.
Margaret loved travelling to Florida and spending time with family. She enjoyed watching wrestling and baseball on tv. Cats were a large part of her life also.
Margaret is survived by her children, Peggy McConnehey, Roger and Ron Brown, and Bonnie (Lamont) Howard; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and her fur babies, Tinker and Baby. Along with her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Johnson (who passed in 1984); children, Dave Brown, Bob Brown, Jr., and Fran Kuehner; son-in-law, Tony McConnehey; and sisters, Rita Carboni and Edna Welsh.
