Norma Jean Kahn

Norma Jean Kahn age 93, passed away at her residence that she shared with her husband in Roanoke for 70 years on Monday, November 3, 2025. Norma was born on April 18, 1932, in Huntington County, IN, to the late Alva and Marie (Mitchell) Waggoner. She married William E. Kahn on June 15, 1951, and they shared 72 years together before his passing on January 24, 2024. Norma graduated from Lagro High School in 1950. She retired from Noll Printing in Huntington and had also worked at a print shop in Roanoke, IN. She and her husband were members of the Circle W Horse Club in Bluffton, IN. Norma is survived by one son; Randy (Judy) Kahn of Waynedale, IN, two daughters; Deb Kahn, Roanoke, IN and Pam (Don "Tiny") Wright, Roanoke, IN, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Along with her husband, William, and her parents, she was preceded in death by one son James Kahn (October 17, 2023); one brother, Alfred Waggoner; and three sisters, Betty Boyer, Thelma Reust Blair, and Mary Morris. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home-Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN. There will be a graveside service immediately following at Glenwood Cemetery Roanoke, IN.
