Randall McCullough Obituary

Randall L. McCullough, 66, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday morning, July 8, 2025, at the family homestead after a long battle with cardiovascular disease. He was born on December 5, 1958, in Decatur, IN, the son of Charles N. "Bud" and Ruby K. (Combs) McCullough. On July 22, 1978, Randall married Dorothy "Dot" Eichhorn, the love of his life. He was previously employed by Dolco Packaging and a member of the North American Trap Collectors Association. Randall shared his love of the outdoors with his family. He enjoyed time mowing and in his woods. Randall is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dot McCullough of Decatur, IN; 4 daughters, Hailey (Michael) Straub of Ossian, IN, Carley (Tim) Hower of Monroe, IN, Molly Passwaters of Decatur, IN, Riley (Nicholas) Sciarappa of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister, Rita Curtis of Decatur, IN; 10 grandchildren, Grace, Ryan & Alexander Straub, Moses, Annabelle, Isaac & Samson Hower, Zeke Passwaters, Indiana Lee, Daisy & another Sciarappa expected in February. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Drew Passwaters; a brother, Anthony McCullough; a granddaughter, Carmella Sciarappa. Per Randall's wishes there will be no services. Memorials may be given to the North American Trap Collectors Association Inc., PO Box 94, Galloway, OH 43119. Arrangements are entrusted to Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
