Born and raised in South Bend, Robert was a true jack-of-all-trades, renowned for his ability to craft anything from intricate cabinets to charming playhouses. His creativity and skill transformed every home he touched into a masterpiece, reflecting his passion for craftsmanship and his dedication to making the world around him beautiful. Robert shared a remarkable 50-year marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara Willard, who preceded him in death on February 1, 2016. Their enduring partnership was a testament to love, mutual respect, and shared dreams, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew them. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Lisonbee, and her husband, Chad Lisonbee; his son, Robert Willard Jr., and his wife, Kristine Willard; and his cherished granddaughter, Zoei Lisonbee. Robert's memory will live on through the countless creations he crafted and the boundless love he shared with his family and community.
