Willard Tuttle

Willard Tuttle, 84, of LaGrange, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born March 8, 1941, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to George and Glenna (Slone) Tuttle. He was raised by George and Vernie (Whitt) Tuttle. On July 3, 1965, in Stroh, he married Glenna F. Conley. Willard retired as a machinist at Morgan Olson in Sturgis, Michigan. He was a founding member of Five Corners Baptist Church in Wolcottville. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He was an avid IU Basketball fan. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Glenna F. Tuttle of LaGrange; a daughter, Susan (Al) Amburgey of LaGrange; two sons, Tom (Jennifer) Tuttle of Wolcottville and Gregg (Dionne) Tuttle of LaGrange; six grandchildren, Anthony (Ashley Largent) Tuttle, Kyle (Brianne Sutton) Tuttle, Cody Tuttle, Tyler (Zoe Diehl) Tuttle, Noah (Cari) Tuttle, and Aiden Tuttle; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Tuttle, Aria Tuttle, and Spencer Largent; two sisters, Rebecca King of Stroh and Vickie (JW) Combs of Stroh; three brothers, Keith Tuttle of Stroh, Ralph Tuttle of Big Turkey Lake, and Wendell Tuttle of Hudson. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Khloe Tuttle; five brothers, Hugh Tuttle, Jackie Scott, an infant brother, Mickey Tuttle, Bradley Owens, and Lester Owens. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Five Corners Baptist Church, 2995 E 600 S, Wolcottville with Reverend Barry St. Clair officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Anthony Tuttle, Kyle Tuttle, Tyler Tuttle, Noah Tuttle, Aiden Tuttle, and Nicholas Tuttle. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.
