Alice Duffy Obituary
Alice H. (Wells) Duffy, 98, of Lansdale, PA-formerly of Souderton and North Wales-went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Gwynedd Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Vera and the late William Duffy.
Born in McKinley, PA, Alice was the daughter of the late Frank Wells and Barbara (Cathcart) Wells. She attended Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, PA.
Throughout her working years, Alice was employed at the former Lansdale Tube Company. She later served as a supervisor at both Plastica in North Wales and Deltron, Inc. in Lansdale. She was also a proud member of the Deltron bowling team.
Alice was an active member of the community, particularly at Valley Vista, where she belonged to the Activity Club, coordinated birthday celebrations, and lovingly tended to the flower gardens.
A devoted member of Towamencin Mennonite Church in Kulpsville, Alice found great joy in her faith. She loved crocheting lap and baby blankets, making prayer shawls, flower gardening, listening to hymns on the radio, and spending time with her beloved family. She had a lifelong love of bowling, volleyball, and rollerskating, and held a special affection for her dogs: Buttons, Cuddles, Sparky, and Sammy.
Alice will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, warm heart, honesty, sense of humor, and her constant desire to create and give to others.
