An Thi Dinh

An Thi Dinh, age 88, died Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 8:00 PM. An was the daughter of Han and Tuyet Dinh. She was born June 2, 1937 in Thai Binh, Vietnam. She was the beloved wife of Cach Van Dinh, who passed away March of 2000. They were Vietnamese immigrants who fled communist Vietnam with their children during the Vietnam War and were rescued by the US Navy at sea. Thanks to the tremendous outpouring of love from the sponsors at Seven Sorrows BVM parish in Middletown, PA and others, they were able to raise their eleven children. They lived in Middletown, and Highspire, PA. Throughout her life, An was a talented seamstress, a profession through which she not only earned her living but also touched countless lives with her skill and artistry. In 1988, An and Cach moved to Lansdale so all the children can be near each other. One of An's proudest personal accomplishments was getting her driver's license, which gave her the freedom to pursue employment at Malco Products, Inc. and then Central Sprinkler until her retirement. When not traveling, An's favorite places were in the kitchen and her garden. She enjoyed seeing the happy faces of family and friends around the dinner table with her cooking. She was a devout Catholic who regularly drove herself to masses and loved to participate in the Vietnamese Catholic church group with fund-raising events and prayer groups. She later learned to do flower arrangements and enjoyed that as well. She is survived by her children and their spouses Phuong and Bic Nguyen, Danny and Nhung Dinh, Liên and Phuong Nguyen, Anh and Hung Dinh, Sonny and Kim-Khue Dinh, Alex and Lieu Dinh, Heather and Joey Degrood, Tammy and Darren Decker, Linda and Ben Pearl, Maria and Paul Tran, and Viet and Hoan Nguyen; twenty-five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many siblings, nieces, and nephews. She will be missed by both family and friends. A time of visitation will immediately follow. The family will also receive visitors Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St Maria Goretti Parish, 1601 Derstine Rd, Hatfield, PA 19440. A memorial mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place in section 47, range 48 of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19150. Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
