Ann Swan Obituary

Ann C. (Hagberg) Swan, 79, of Whitehall, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday July 15, 2025. Born in Wilkinsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Mary (Carpenter) Hagberg. Ann was the loving wife of the late Ward J. Swan, I with whom she shared a happy marriage until his passing. Together, they had owned a small antique shop located at their former home, which Ann loved tending to. Ann proudly served in the United States Navy after graduation. Ann was a Homemaker and loved raising her family. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading and her pets and grand pets. Most of all Ann loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Survivors: Daughter LeeAnn, wife of David Bower, of Whitehall and Stepson Ward J. Swan, II, husband of Karin, of Shoemakersville; Grandchildren Jayce, Jaxton, Elliot and Owen. In addition to her parents and husband Ann was preceded in death by her brother Chapin Hagberg. Ann wishes were that no services be held. Her family will hold a celebration of life at a later date to be determined. Memorial donations may be given in Ann's memory to The Sanctuary of Haafsville, c/o Schmoyer Funeral Home, PO Box 190 Breinigsville, PA 18031.
