Anna F. Sacks

Anna F. (Peterka) Sacks, 77, passed away on July 12, 2025. Born in Allentown on February 6, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John and Stephanie (Lanosz) Peterka. Anna was married to the late Marvin Sacks, Jr. for 20 years. She was also the companion of the late John L. Metrision for 23 years. Anna worked in the sewing industry as a merrow machine operator for 24 years. She retired from B. Braun Medical after 24 years as an assembler. Anna was an avid reader. She also enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, and going to the casino. She was a member of VFW Post 2124. Survivors: Daughters, Christine Metzler and husband, James, of Parrish, FL, and Linda Sacks of Allentown; Grandchildren, Arika Troxell (Joseph), Matthew Zimmerman, Michael Metzler (Rebecca), and Kevin Metzler; Great-Grandchildren, Holden, Owen, Skyelar, Jack, Lillian, Layla, and Ariana; Sister, Mary Ann Philips; Brothers, Paul Peterka (Valerie) and Robert Helfrich; many nieces and nephews.
