Anthony Di "Tony" Rado

Anthony "Tony" Di Rado, 87, of Chesterbrook passed away peacefully on Friday April 25, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 1, 1937 in Santa Maria Imbaro (CH) Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo & Luisa Di Rado, and the beloved husband of Julia (Liberato) Di Rado. Tony- was a great salesman, he went from selling exotic italian cars to local celebrities and sports figures to then pioneering some of the Italian Specialty Foods we all enjoy eating today. Tony was a well-traveled man, for work he traveled to almost every major city in North America, but most of all, Tony enjoyed spending his summers in his hometown in Italy with family and friends. He loved watching Italian Seria A Soccer and cheering for Italia during the World Cup. He also enjoyed hunting, as this would bring Tony back to his youth as he was a Champion Trap Shooter. In addition to his beloved wife, Nonno Tony is survived by Luisa his daughter- husband Massimo- Grandchild Michael and wife Theresa; Anthony Jr. his son- wife Gina- Grandchildren Anthony "Antonio" III & Giada; Sibling Mario; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass for Tony at the St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA 19063 on Thursday May 1, 2025 beginning at 11:00AM, family and friends may call from 9:30AM-11:00AM at the church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
