Aziz Younes

Aziz Younes, 78, of Allentown, passed away on February 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Known by friends and family as "Booza," he was born in Amar, Syria, and was the son of the late Abdoul Rauf and Aziza Younes. Aziz is survived by his loving wife, Amal (Wakim) Younes, and they would have celebrated 49 blessed years together this March. Together they happily opened and ran Damascus Restaurant until 1999, serving the Syrian community and reminding them of the taste of home. Survivors: devoted daughter, Rhonda, wife of Simon Fares; three beautiful granddaughters, Gabriella, Isabella, & Lillian; brother, Karim Younes of Allentown; sisters: Nabiha Attieh of Whitehall, Daad Taoum of Lebanon, and Jamileh Jarrah of Whitehall; thirteen caring nieces and nephews. Aziz is predeceased by his sister, Salma Abdouche and his nephew, Ramon Abdouche. The family will be accepting condolences at the viewing on Monday, February 24th, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bachman, Kulik, & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Rd., Allentown.
