Barbara Jean Clark, 73, of Lower Nazareth Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald "Clarky" Clark to whom she was married 27 years before his passing in 2021.
Born on February 7, 1952, in Bethlehem, Barbara was the daughter of the late Vincent Kresge and Josephine Kresge (Hake).
Barbara worked in various fields during her life including waitressing, managing retail stores and working at Mack Printing before retiring.
Barbara had a passion for reading, having read hundreds of books. She enjoyed crafting and collecting various items and was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. During her life and after retirement, Barb cultivated a love for traveling, whether it be by car, plane, train or boat, with some of her favorite destinations being Disney World, Arizona, and the many trips to the Caribbean. These experiences brought her immense joy and allowed her to create cherished memories with her friends and family.
Survivors: She will be dearly missed by her children, Arden Strickland of Allentown, Tracy Strickland of Connecticut; Step-children: Kelly Duffy (husband Jim) of Alaska, Donald Clark (wife Kim) of Palmerton, Robyn Fontan (husband Carlos) of Bangor; Ten Grandchildren and Seven Great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Seruga, of Allentown. In addition to her spouse, Donald, she was predeceased by her brothers James Newhard, Tim Newhard, and David Newhard.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on February 28th, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Bath, PA 18014. Burial will be private. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
Arrangements and cremation services are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, Inc. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's name may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
