Barbara McCrickerd Obituary

Barbara Jean McCrickerd, 65, of Allentown, passed away in the hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, on Sunday, September 21, 2025 with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Kathy J. Wilt, with whom she shared 20 years together and 10 years of marriage. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert Jr. and Betty-Jane (Warner) Edelman. For the last 8 years, she worked as a scan coordinator for the Fresh Market in Center Valley and prior she worked for various locations of Redner's Warehouse Markets for over 20 years. Along with Kathy, they were avid photographers. She will be remembered for her great love the Philadelphia Eagles and the Christmas holiday, especially driving in the snow. She enjoyed traveling and had a great love for drag queens and shows. Survivors: wife Kathy; adopted daughter Bailey Macintosh of Ohio; sisters in law Christine Walton of Myerstown, Melanie Wilt of Allentown, Tina Wilt of Allentown; nephew Timothy Walton of Bethlehem and very special friend of the family, Matthew Minnier. Service: 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 28 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Calling time to being at 3:00 PM. Memorials can be considered in lieu of flowers to the family for burial expenses.
