Betty Lou "Betsy" (Brown) Maier, age 66, of Whitehall, passed away suddenly at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the loving wife of Rod Maier whom she married on her birthday in 1981. Born in Washington DC she resided with her parents Charles and Theresa Brown. Rod and Betsy lived in Binghamton, NY where she worked as a traffic coordinator for WBNG TV Channel 12. When arriving in the Lehigh Valley, Betsy worked at the Friendly's off Airport Road and then finally as her church's secretary at New Journey Community Church in Northampton. Betsy played softball and tennis in school. She would later play in a women's fast pitch softball league in New York. In addition to Rod, Betsy is survived by her son Christopher with wife Kayla and their children, Colton, Hudson, Cooper and Adeline. She is also survived by her brother Christopher. Family and Friends may gather on Sunday, Sept. 14th, 2025 at New Journey Community Church, 1769 Newport Ave, Northampton, PA 18067 for a memorial service starting at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local ASPCA centre of one's choosing.

Rod, I´m so sorry that we lost Betsy. But so thankful I was able to see her and spend a little time with her. Betsy was loved and will be missed by so many, especially me. We had gotten so close over the last couple of years. To know she is in the arms of her Lord and Savior is the greatest blessing. Godspeed, sweet soul.
