Betty Moran Obituary

Betty A. (Diehl) Moran, 79, formerly of Schnecksville, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the life-partner of George Zonko of Schnecksville. Born in Allentown, December 1, 1945, Betty was the daughter of the late John R. Diehl, Sr. and Clara (Bailey) Diehl. She was employed as a school bus driver in the Parkland School District for 20 years before retiring in 2013. Betty was a member of the Copeechan Fish & Game Club, Schnecksville. She enjoyed having garage sales at her residence, traveling, attending NASCAR Racing, and dining out. Survivors: In addition to her life-partner, George; son, Matthew D. Ernst and his companion, Lori Witkowski of Schnecksville. Service: A private memorial service and calling period will be held at the convenience of the family. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
