Christine Greenaway Obituary

Christine S. Greenaway, 76, of Bangor, PA, passed away on October 31, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton. Born in Easton, PA, on December 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Anna Mae (Cruse) Keller and Howard "Bud" Wilder, Sr. Christine was the beloved wife of John F.E. Greenaway, with whom she celebrated 31 years of marriage last August. She was a dedicated educator, having graduated from Easton High School, earned her undergraduate degree from Teel College, and obtained a Master's Degree in Education and Social Restoration from Lehigh University. Christine devoted 40 years of her career as the education director at the Children's Home of Easton, retiring in 2012. She had a passion for gardening, crafting, and running her small business, "Plates for all Occasions." Christine is survived by her husband, John, her son Jason, and his wife Stephanie Nowakowski, and six granddaughters. She was predeceased by her brother, Howard Wilder. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, Martins Creek, PA In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. I am so sorry to hear of Chris´s passing. We worked together at the Children´s Home for many years and shared both good times & difficult times together. My condolences to Jason, John & family.
