Christopher "Chris" Carmine Kurtz, age 24 of Saylorsburg, PA entered into eternal rest as of a result of a heavy equipment accident on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Upper Black Eddy, PA Chris was born in East Stroudsburg, PA on July 24, 2001, loving son of Christopher C. and Ninette M. (Cappello) Kurtz. He was a 2019 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville, PA Chris had a fierce devotion to his work, owning and operating a welding business, heavy equipment maintenance and repair business, and excavating and trucking business all out of Saylorsburg, PA. He also worked for Medico Construction Equipment in Stroudsburg, PA for the past five years. Chris loved collecting guns and loved dirt track racing since he was a little boy. We have been blessed with the presence and love of Christopher in our lives. He blessed our lives with treasured memories. Chris will be deeply missed by his loving parents: Christopher C. and Ninette M. (Cappello) Kurtz of Saylorsburg, PA., his sister: Stephanie L. Kurtz and her boyfriend: Dylan Martin of Saylorsburg, PA. his grandmother who he lovingly called "Nanny": Nancy Cappello of Saylorsburg, PA, grandfather: Charles Kurtz of Dominican Republic and grandmother: Ann Sele and husband Ken of Long Island, NY. Chris is also survived by his uncle: Anthony Cappello of Seaford, NY, aunt: Jennifer Kurtz of Brookhaven, NY and extended family and many friends. He will be missed more than words can express ~~and never, ever forgotten. A Celebration of Life will be held at a bonfire on November 1, 2025, at the family's home beginning at 4:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
