Connie Bahnck Obituary

Connie E. "Mimi" Bahnck, 73, of Tinicum Township, Bucks County, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was the devoted wife of William Bahnck, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage this past April. Born in Pottstown, PA on August 13, 1952, Connie was the daughter of the late George F. and Mary (Herb) Rhoads. She dedicated more than 22 years as the office manager at a dental practice in Ottsville before retiring. A faithful member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Ottsville, Connie served in many capacities, including as Past Consistory President. Her life was marked by love, service, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone she met. Connie's greatest joy was her family-especially her grandchildren, whose lives and activities brought her endless pride and happiness. She was, as her family lovingly describes, "a little bit of chaos mixed with joy, laughter, and pure sunshine." She will be deeply missed by her husband, Bill; her children, William A. Bahnck of Ottsville, Carolyn M. Bahnck-Teets (Paul R. Teets) of Quakertown, and Brian G. Bahnck (Nicole K.) of Doylestown; her sister, Susan R. (Larry) McKinney of Wendell, NC; and her cherished grandchildren, Anna, Jace, Ella, Marielle, and Owen. She was preceded in death by her siblings Pearl Rhoads, Nancy Weaver, and Bill Rhoads. Family and friends are invited to a calling period from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at St. Peter's Tohickon UCC, 1071 Old Bethlehem Road, Perkasie, PA 18944, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. A funeral repast will be held in the church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. To share an expression of sympathy with the family, please visit www.heintzelmancares.com. Met Connie and Bill many years ago when I worked in real estate office next to their hardware store in Ottsville. Enjoyed running into to Connie and Bill every day as they ran their store with young Will scampering around beside them. She was always a ray of sunshine and always had a smile on her face. She was my friend and I will miss her. My condolences to Bill and the family for their loss.

I met Connie years ago when she was dating my cousin Bill. There are three things I remember most about Connie. She loved Bill. She loved her children and was very proud of them and she cherished her grandchildren.
And I remember her laughter was so special. May she rest in peace.

Rosanne McCarty and Pam Johnson ,
We were very saddened to receive the call that Connie had passed. I remember her contagious laughter and the time when she and my cousin , Bill met . It was pretty apparent that they were a match . Each one complimenting the other . As the children arrived , each was met with excitement and great
love. Connie had a contagious laugh and was so proud of her children . She would proudly tell of their achievements and when the grandchildren arrived , she would be so thrilled .

I was heartbroken to hear of Connie´s passing. She was such a special person-kind, generous, love for family, and full of warmth. Her presence always brought light to those around her, she will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family during this difficult time.

She loved to laugh and she did it often. It was so symbolic of who she was; a person filled with joy and a love of life. Sometimes just a giggle, sometimes a real belly laugh, but we'll never forget the sound of her laughter. She loved her family with every ounce of herself and would talk about her grandchildren with anyone and everyone. When we saw her for the last time, last week, she smiled and laughed and talked as if nothing was wrong. We're so sorry that she's not here anymore, but we know that she's still laughing with the king of kings. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Mary and Ed

Though I have not seen my cousin Connie for years. I remember her as a kind and caring person. I fondly remember visiting her parents and her sister Pearl with my own Mom who all spoke highly about Connie. My sincere sympathy goes out to Brian and her children, grandchildren and sister Susie. RIP Connie until we meet again.
